What is the Step Up Scholarship?
The Florida Step Up for Students Education Scholarship Account (ESA) provides funding for eligible K-12 students to access approved educational services, including tutoring, enrichment programs, and hands-on learning experiences like 30aTeenz courses.
Funds are loaded onto a scholarship account and can be spent through the MyScholarShop marketplace on approved vendors and services. 30aTeenz courses qualify as structured educational enrichment for teens.
How to Use Your Scholarship at 30aTeenz
Purchase on MyScholarShop
Log into your MyScholarShop account. Search for "30aTeenz" or "30aKidz" in the marketplace. Select the course or courses you want and complete your purchase using your scholarship funds.
Go to Step Up for StudentsRegister on 30aTeenz
After purchasing on MyScholarShop, come to our site and complete the interest / enrollment form. Select your course and preferred session, then choose "Purchased through Step Up Scholarship" as your payment method. Enter your MyScholarShop order or reference number so we can match your purchase.

We'll verify your MyScholarShop purchase and confirm your teen's spot. You'll receive a confirmation with all the details for your course: schedule, location, and what to bring (a laptop for technology classes).

Common Questions
Do I pay on your site or on MyScholarShop?
You purchase through MyScholarShop using your scholarship funds. Then you come to our site, complete the enrollment form, and select "Step Up Scholarship" as your payment method. No card payment is needed on our site.
What if I want to pay out-of-pocket instead?
Absolutely. You can enroll on our site and choose "Pay with Card or Bank" to pay directly. The Step Up scholarship is optional.
Can I enroll in multiple courses?
Yes. Each course is its own 6-week session. You can purchase multiple courses on MyScholarShop and enroll in each one on our site. Many families stack a Thinking course with a Coding lab in the same term.
What do I need for registration?
Your MyScholarShop order or reference number, parent contact info, student info (name, age), and an emergency contact.
Is 30aTeenz an approved Step Up vendor?
